This international event will focus on the cutting edge peptide and protein researches with the theme of New Leaders in Protein and Peptide Science. This conference will feature an outstanding experience both scientifically and socially. Also, the oriental culture makes Beijing a fascinating and pleasant place to congregate with old colleagues and new friends to share the most important aspects of many exciting and rapid advances in peptide and protein researches. PepCon-2011will cover the basic protein science, proteins and diseases enable protein technologies such as human proteome technologies and cancer research, protein kinases as targets of small molecule drug discovery, protein biomarkers, protein analysis and quality control, protein engineering and production, and proteins as drugs-non-Antibody and non-vaccine protein therapeutics, and other related topics. The conference will take the form of presentations, workshops, round table conferences, exhibitions and posters. It is our hope to provide an alternative exciting event in Asia Pacific Rim that updates the current trend and business model for the peptide and protein professionals. A crucial aspect of our never ending endeavors is to find solutions to difficult scientific problems, and our ultimate goal is to support translation of scientific discovery into application or therapeutics.
PepCon-2011 is a dedicated event for protein and peptide professional following the success of PepCon-2008 in Shenzhen, China, PepCon-2009 in Seoul, South Korea and PepCon-2010 in Beijing. It has become an influential conference for Protein/Peptide Professionals accessing to latest breakthroughs and frontiers in Protein/Peptide Sciences and Technology along with the potential business opportunities. During PepCon-2010, we attracted more than 800 participants from 48 countries and regions, 80 exhibitors joined the conference. And this year, we will try our best to provide an even better platform to exchange information and foster collaborations.
In addition, this major international event will be held in Beijing, a mega-modern and appealingly ancient city.
