The Florida Veterinary Medical Association for the past 75 years has been the voice of Veterinary Medicine in Florida. It is a statewide, non-regulatory, not for profit association of 2,500 veterinarians who are primarily interested in the promotion of animal health and the well being of animals, public health, the enactment of laws regulating the practice of Veterinary Medicine, and the control of diseases of animals and the advancement of the veterinary profession through sponsored professional meetings and publications.
